This recipe makes a fruity, punchy barbecue sauce perfect for grilled chicken and ribs. It is mildly spicy and is amazing on chicken, ribs and even tofu!

Prep Time 10 minutes    Servings 1 cup

Ingredients:
1 cup cider syrup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp Coleman's dry mustard
1.5 tsp. Maras pepper or any pepper flake you have
2 tsp. salt sea salt or kosher
1 tsp. chopped rosemary
1 tsp. smoked paprika
garnish a bit with chopped chives and chive flowers if you have them

Instructions:

1. Whiz all ingredients together in a food processor or blender until smooth and emulsified.

2. I was too lazy to light the coals, so I pan fried chicken breasts so they were nice and brown on both sides and cooked through. I poured the BBQ sauce over the chicken and allowed it to caramelize a bit before removing it from the pan and serving. The sauce will cling to the meat beautifully. Serve with extra sauce!

3. Plate it up and dive right in! You will be happy!
