CIDER GARDEN
Our Cider Garden will be open every weekend, starting mid-May (if weather cooperates). We welcome you to come by and enjoy a glass or two of our natural hard cider and/or handmade sodas and shrub sodas. The setting is beautiful and relaxed and the cider is all made on-farm.
Hours:
Friday 3-7
Saturday & Sunday 1-7
* The cider garden is entirely outdoors so if it is wet or the weather is threatening, we will close. Stay up to date by checking on
facebook or instagram @carrsciderhouse
Our Farm Shop is open everyday!
HOURS:
everyday 10-6
The shop is stocked with cider vinegars, cider syrup, shrubs and oxymels (drinking vinegars - many varieties), freshly milled Cherokee White Flour Corn Flour, our Ciderhouse Cookbook for lots of inspiration, honey from the orchard, and our
2023 natural HARD CIDER .
Preservation Orchard and Farm - run by Ava Blum-Carr (our daughter) & Joe Manning - organically grown vegetables and flowers are starting to be available. As the season progresses, expect heaps of the most beautiful produce around!
We also now have pasture raised chickens, eggs, and lamb from Meadowfed Lamb, the business of our friends who co-farm with us. Matt Kaminsky and Rachel Haas of MeadowFed Lamb beautifully manage silvopastures on Preservation Orchard where their sheep strip graze fresh pasture in the tree rows (that’s what silvopasture is) and then the chickens follow in their path. Check out @meadowfedlamb on Instagram for a beautiful look into the lives of these deeply cared for animals. They also have yarn and wool sponges upon request.
Follow us on IG and FB for up-to-date news on shop hours and events.
